Sysmex User Meeting

LYRA’s Sysmex user meeting was held on October 9, 2024 at Hotel Reykjavík Grand. Various presentations were delivered, both by Sysmex representatives and users.

Dr. Sigrún Reykdal, chief physician at Landspítali, gave a presentation on Lymphocytosis, benign vs. malignant, and Arna Óttarsdóttir, a medical laboratory scientist at Landspítali, presented on the implementation of Extended IPU. There were also presentations and introductions from Birgit Worning and Charlotte Amtoft.

The day concluded with a dinner where Björgvin Sveinsson, a technician at LYRA for 19 years, was honored on his retirement.
