Sysmex course

Sysmex XN-1000 Super User Training course was held at LYRU in Hádegismóar on September 26 and 27, 2023. There were 11 participants in the course from seven laboratories.

Sysmex course

Sysmex XN-1000 Super User Training course was held at LYRU in Hádegismóar on the 25th and 26th of April. Nine users from eight laboratories participated in the course.

After the first day of the course, the group went to the Grand Brasserie restaurant at the Grand Hotel Reykjavík.

Roche User Conference 2023

The user conference of LYRA & Roche Diagnostics was held on February 23, 2023 at the Hilton Reykjavík Nordica. The latest and most significant things to come in terms of technological progress, opportunities and possibilities for laboratories in the health field were reviewed. The COVID time was also covered and much, much more.

The conference was chaired by Guðbjartur Gunnarsson, executive director of LYRA, and the speakers were Þórólfur Guðnason, former Iceland epidemiologist, Ólöf Sigurðardóttir, chief physician at the Hospital in Akureyri, together with a team of experts from Roche Diagnostics.

Guðmundur Jensson, head of the technical department at LYRA and Sunna Helgadóttir, an expert at LYRA also had a talk at the conference.

The conference was attended by staff at Icelandic health research laboratories.

Sysmex XN-1000 Super User Training course was held at LYRA in Hádegismóar on the 25th and 26th of October. Thirteen users from twelve laboratories participated in the course. In the pictures you can see the participants together with the lecturer and LYRA staff.

Cobas application training

An expert from Roche Diagnostics recently took care of application training on Cobas 6000 at the laboratory of Icelandic genetic analysis with staff from ÍE and HSU in Selfoss.

Training on Cobas C311 was also carried out at the laboratory of the University of Iceland (in Stapi) with staff, but in that laboratory, biomedical students get to express themselves in various projects and research.
