The company LYRA was founded in July 1991 by father and son Höskuldur Höskuldsson and Höskuldur Þórðarson. Today, the owners are Höskuldur Höskuldsson, Rakel Sara Höskuldsdóttir and Lea Ösp Höskuldsdóttir.

Lyra provides specialized services in terms of installation and maintenance of clinical chemical analysis equipment that can be found in the laboratories of all health institutions in Iceland.

Lyra’s activities are threefold; sales, distribution and maintenance services.
